Mary Ann Eichelberger
1928-2009
Born in North Little Rock, Arkansas, on August 28, 1928, Mary Ann Eichelberger passed way Friday, August 14, 2009 at age 80. She had lived in Lompoc, California, for the past three years with her sister, Orris Leone, but formally lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for 58 years where she worked and retired as an Executive Secretary for Hart Engineers of Baton Rouge. She had many loving friends in Baton Rouge, LA, and Gonzales, LA.
She loved Lompoc and the beautiful weather and flowers and being with her sis Orris' family.
She is survived by her sister Orris Leone of Lompoc, California, and sister Beatrice Gwatney of North Little Rock, Arkansas, many nieces and nephews, many grand nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews.
Since Mary Ann had to spend many hours getting blood transfusions for her Milo Displacia Syndrome illness she wanted so much to see our new hospital finished. One of her wishes would be for all donations in her memory be made to the Lompoc Hospital Foundation, 508 East Hickory Avenue, Lompoc, California 93436.
A graveside service will be held at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery on Friday, August 21, 2009, at 2 PM.
