Mary Lou Simoni died December 17, 2016 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara after a brief illness. She was born March 28, 1934 to Charles and Mary (Ferrari) Simoni. The youngest of three children, she attended school at Vista Del Mar, Santa Ynez High School and Santa Barbara City College.
Mary Lou had a long career working at Johns Manville. She enjoyed traveling with the grange and was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Sons of Italy, Half Century Club and La Purisima Catholic Church. Her hobbies included embroidery and needlework projects.
She is survived by her nephew Ron Simoni, and niece Brenda (Mike) Mann. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Harry and Elmer Simoni.
Rosary will be at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 6:30 pm with visitation to follow. A funeral mass will be held at La Purisima Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm
