Maureen Bosking passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10th at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara surrounded by family.

Maureen is survived by her son, Steven, his wife, Jenny, and her beloved grandchildren, Gunnar (14) and Anna(12), all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is also survived by her brother, Keith Anderson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her lovely daughter, Dana Bosking, her parents, Edwin and Helen Anderson, and her brother, Ken Anderson.

Maureen was born on July 15, 1937 in Ridgefield, Washington. She graduated from Battleground High School in 1955 and went on to attend Oregon State University. She married John (Jack) Bosking on December 21st, 1958 in Vancouver, Washington. After Jack's military service, they settled in Lompoc, where Maureen loved living. Maureen served for many years as Lompoc City Clerk. She retired in 1999. She was a loyal and loving caregiver to her daughter, Dana, until Dana's death in 2006. Maureen enjoyed gardening and reading, but most of all, she enjoyed time with her family, whether it be on a long phone conversation, playing cribbage, watching sports with her
son, sharing stories or watching her grandchildren grow.
