Melvin Lamar was born on July 11, 1968 in Bridgeton New Jersey to Pearlene O'Conner and Alfred Earnest Lamar. He was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 28, 2017.
Melvin attended Charlotte High School and joined the US Army in 1987 where he served for 8 yrs. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College and was employed by the Federal Government as a Contracting Officer. Melvin loved to play dominoes, cards, riding along the Central Coast on his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

Wife Nadja Lamar, daughter's Chantel Lamar of Germany, and Enya Lamar of California, son's Deangelo Endrikat and step son Nick Endrikat of California, Granddaughter Zoe Treisha Lamar from Germany.
His sister's Patricia Brown (Herman) and Marie Lamar. His brothers Zebedie Stubs (Ruth), Ronald Lamar (Linda), Reginald Butler (Felicia), Randy Butler (Jackie), Alfred Lamar Jr.
