Michael Joe Navarrette was born in Artesia, New Mexico, on July 13, 1955.  He moved to Lompoc in the early 1990's.  He was very active in his daughters lives.  He helped coach their basketball and softball teams.  He loved being a Lompoc Unified School District bus driver.

Michael is survived by his daughters Sophie and Brandiann, his son Jai, sisters Johelen White and Anna Boehmke, brother-in-law Guadalupe Terrones, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Sophie Navarrette and his sister Mary Terrones.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary in Lompoc.
