Michael Patrick Ryan, age 62 of Lompoc, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008. He was born in Enid, Oklahoma on July 6, 1946 to John and Mary Ryan. He was raised and educated in San Antonio, Texas and moved with his family several times over the years, as his father was in the military. He came to Lompoc in 1961 from England and is a graduate of Lompoc High School.

He served our country in the United States Army, was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, and enjoyed following the stock market.

He is survived by his father, John Ryan of Lompoc, brother Timothy Mark Ryan of Santa Barbara, and brother Matthew Kevin Ryan of Lompoc. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ryan and his sister Mary Kathleen Ryan.

A funeral service will take place for Michael on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel with Monsignor Fitzgerald of Queen of Angels Catholic Church to officiate. Burial will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
