Michael Taylor of Lompoc died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the age of 62.
Michael was born March 3, 1951 to Gerald and Lenora Taylor in Fallon, Nevada. He was raised and educated in Lovelock, Nevada and completed his education in Texas by obtaining his master's degree in aircraft engineering.
Formerly of Arizona he moved to Solvang 17 years ago and later settled in Lompoc. He worked for Santa Barbara Aerospace. He was a deacon with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed woodworking and riding motorcycles.
Michael is survived by his wife of 18 years Robyn Taylor, his daughter Sabrina of Sonora, California, son Michael Taylor of Tennessee, twin sons Chris and Gerald Taylor of Sonora and Walnut Creek respectively, daughter Colt Morgan Taylor of Lompoc, 11 grandchildren and two sisters, Bonnie and Linda, both of Nevada.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 17, at 10am at Mission Hills Baptist Church, 3625 Rucker Road in Lompoc.
