Michael A. Theis passed away Wednesday, August 23,2006 due to a massive heart attack, at his home in Lompoc. He was 44 years old.
Michael was born in Twentynine Palms, CA on March 21, 1962. His family came to Lompoc in 1966. After graduating Lompoc High School in 1980 he was employed as a plumber with various plumbing companies. He loved fishing and all sports. He coached Little League baseball and basketball.
Michael is survived by his mother and stepfather, Carla and Vahan Yeterian of Lompoc; sisters Carla Garvin of Scottsdale, AZ and Sheri Holder of Nebraska; a brother Ralph Theis of Twentynine Palms, CA. His other brother Scott Theis passed away on March 23 of this year. He is also survived by a stepsister, Shannon Yeterian, of Lompoc, stepbrothers, Brad Yeterian of California and Sean Yeterian of AZ and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In honor of Michael's love for sports any memorial donations may be made to Lompoc Little League or the Boys Club of Lompoc.
Arrangements for cremation will be under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
