Michael J. Tisdale of Lompoc died Friday, February 15, 2008, at the age of 27.

Mike was born November 20, 1980, in Upland, California, to Kenneth and Joyce Tisdale. He attended Los Berros Elementary School and La Purisima Catholic School. Mike became active in sports where he played basketball, winning several trophies. He always had a hardy smile and an easy-going personality. Mike's biggest joy was the son born to him by his fiancée Tatiana Bublitz, Michael Lee Arthur Tisdale. Mike loved music; his favorite thing was to Rap. He loved to free style.

Left to celebrate his life are his son, Michael Lee Arthur Tisdale; fiancée Tatiana Bublitz; parents, Joyce and Kenneth Tisdale; brother, Damon Tisdale of Las Vegas, Nevada, sister, Vanessa Tisdale; three nieces, one nephew, and man other family member and friends too numerous to count.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, February 21, 2008, from 4 to 7 pm in the Chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. The memorial service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008, at 11 am at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 500 East North Street in Lompoc, officiated by Pastor Duane Armstrong. A reception will follow at the American Legion Hall, 636 North H Street. Cremation will be followed by burial in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.

A fund raising car wash will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at the Union 76 Station at A Street and Ocean Avenue, and a fund raising barbecue will be held at a later date. A trust fund in Mike's memory has been established at Bank of America. Arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
