Miguel "Melquias" Castillo Cano passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the age of 63. He was born on July 30, 1962 in Ario de Rayón, Michoacan, Mexico, to Alfonso and Otilia. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 4-8 pm, with a rosary at 6 pm, at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel. The funeral mass will be on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 10 am, at La Purisima Catholic Church. Graveside service will be on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11 am at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
