Nancy Suzanne Phelps of Lompoc, died Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at the age of 78.

Nancy was born in Oakland, California on March 29, 1941.  She was raised and educated in La Fayette, California graduating from Acalanes High School.  She demonstrated an interest in and a talent for art at an early age.  When she moved from Southern California to Lompoc in 1995, she was a well known and accomplished artist.  As a member of the Lompoc Mural Society she participated in the completion of many of Lompoc's murals including the mural depicting Lompoc history on the east side of Grocery Outlet building in Lompoc.

Nancy is survived by three sons, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four sisters, three brothers and the love of her life Harvey Lee Thacker.

In honor of her request, no services will be held.  Cremation will be followed by private inurnment.
