Lovingly known as Nan, was born August 30th, 1938, in Prairie Home, MO to Margaret Hollis and Leo Robinson. In 1943, her family moved to Sedalia, MO where she attended Hubbard Lincoln school.
On Sunday April 27th, 2025, Nan was called home to be with the Lord while at home with her daughter TC, listening to the word of God. Nan was loved by all who knew her. Her infectious smile could melt your heart and she had a laugh that would brighten your day. Family meant everything to Nan. No matter the need, she would open her arms and her home helping any way that she could.
She was preceded in death by: her mother Margaret Hollis, father Leo Robinson, siblings; Martha, Zula Mae, Junior, Sadie, John, Sarah, Robert, Barbara, and Ra'Sheila, children; Tanya Devee, Tina Vondell, and LaQuetta Devate Boyd.
Nan leaves an amazing legacy to be cherished by her daughter, Portrice (TC) Chapman, Sons; Vernon Boyd, Bernard Peterson, Bruce Peterson, and Anthony Hagans, siblings; Cora Dogan (Herman), Charles Bentley (Joann), Elizabeth Bentley, Claudette Green, grandchildren; Christopher Shobe (Jennifer), Lamont Lewis, Latasha Boyd, TaKisha Smith (Jorell), John Boyd (Tyisha), Cynthia Peterson, and Jermel Cook, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved and was very close to. Nan enriched and blessed every life she touched. She is already sorely missed.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 9-11:30 am with a funeral service at 12 pm at True Vine Bible Fellowship, 533 Avalon St. #A, Lompoc CA, 93436. Graveside service to follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
