Natalio (Nat) Elijio Munoz

December 1, 1934-February 4, 2023

Natalio (Nat) Elijio Munoz of Lompoc, California passed away peacefully at Lompoc Hospital on February 4, 2023.  Services will be held on Sunday, February 19th at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.  The family visitation is from 3:00-4:00 p.m., the public visitation from 4:00-7:00 p.m., with the recitation of the rosary from 6:00 p.m.  The mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 20th at La Purisima Catholic Church followed by burial services at Lompoc Cemetery.

Nat was born on December 1, 1934, in Lompoc.  He attended Lompoc High School and then served our country in the Marine Corp from 1957-1959.  Nat married Mercedes (Meche) Hernandez on June 24, 1960.  They were married for 62 years.  He worked for Celite Corporation for 47 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator.  He enjoyed working and had a love for boxing, both participating and being a lifelong fan.  He spent his spare time gardening and manicuring his home and yard.

Nat was preceded in death by his parents Pablo and Jessie, his sisters Rosie, Gloria, and Carolina, his brother Paul, and his beloved daughter Monica.  Nat is survived by his loving wife Mercedes (Meche), two brothers-Eddie and Manuel, four sons-Rick (Juanita), Steve (Jackie), Art, Fernando (Jeriann), one daughter-Lorraine (Fran), eight grandchildren-Cali (Manuel), Kaitlin (Andrew), Samantha, Trent, Alex, Frank (Lauren), Nate, Tori and numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
