Norma worked at the Southern California Gas Company until 1950 when the couple moved to Carpinteria as Glen and his father opened Englund's Inc, selling and servicing Ford tractors.

In 1961, Norma was hired by the Carpinteria Water District as a clerk. She retired in 1978. She was a member and past treasurer of ABWA. She also co-led Brownie Troop 94.

While living in Carpinteria, Norma and Glen were members of a dance club. Norma enjoyed reading, gardening, going to the beach, walking and taking care of her home. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, family and friends.

Norma and Glen moved to Lompoc in 1988 to live near their only child and daughter, Marith Levers.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Marith Levers of Lompoc, her brother, Kenneth Chauvet of Fairfield, MT, cousins, nieces and nephews, including grand and great-grand and her late husband's family with whom there was mutual love, care and respect.
