Joann Osborne was born in Bakersfield, CA on August 19, 1942. She lived in DiGigorio, CA until graduating from Arvin High School in 1960. She then attended cosmetology school and became a well-known hairdresser in Lompoc, CA. Joann passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on September 15, 2014 in Lompoc, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dow and Maxine Jeffers, her loving husband Bob Osborne and beloved son and best friend Jeff Osborne.
Joann is survived by her son Ron Osborne and fiancé Renee; daughter Della Dreese and husband Don; brother Richard Jeffers and wife Linda; cousin (sister) Janice Lorenzo; lifelong friend Mary Ellen Bustos and Doreen Lalone who was like a daughter for the past 39 years. Joann was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary with a private burial at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery .
