Obituary
Orgenia Patterson, formerly of Lompoc died Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at the age of 80 at her home in Elmira, New York. She was born April 11, 1934 in Cuero, Texas to the late William and Susan Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, George Henry Patterson in 1980, along with four brothers and five sisters. Orgenia is survived by her four children; Brenda Blye, Georgenia Bowers, George Henry Patterson Jr., and Jeffrey Patterson, her sister; Lucille Myles, 12 grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She retired from Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc, California, where she worked in the paint shop, and then moved to live with each of her daughters.
Orgenia will return to California to be laid to rest alongside her husband in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery on Friday, February 20, 2015, at 10am.
