Obituary

Pamela F. Mackenzie, 72, was called home to her Savior on Saturday. March 30, 2024.  She died peacefully at her home while she slept.

Pam loved bowling, beaches and butterflies. Pam loved family and friends. Pam loved animals like dogs, cats and hummingbirds. Pam loved orange chicken and hated green peas.

Pam was predeceased by her parents, Crawford and Corrine Mackenzie; her sister, Debra Berg; and her life partner, Pete Warren and his daughter Phyllis.  Her many survivors include sisters Maryse (Tony) Wasmanski, Eileen Ogden, and brother Don Mackenzie; her nieces, Audrey Ogden, Cathy Zimmerman, and children (Amber and Grayson); April (James) Sheahan and children (Autumn and Everett); and Cara Wasmanski and nephew, Cameron Berg.  Additional survivors are her own children, Heather Deal (sons Richie & Mikie), Ginnie (Rich) McCaig, (children Nicole & Richard), Shawn and David Warren.

Pam had two great grandsons and five great granddaughters, all of whom she adored, and adorned her home with their pictures.

Pam is also survived by a group of lifelong friends.

Pamela's family applauds the staff at Lompoc's Artificial Kidney Center; namely Dr. Kamal, Angie, Felicia, and Lydia, for their compassionate care, raising her quality of life for her final several years.  Anyone wishing to honor Pam's memory can make donations to Lompoc Artificial Kidney Center at 127 W. Pine, Lompoc.
