Pamela Ann Terrones, 67, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, in Santa Maria, California. A viewing for close family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary in Lompoc, California, at 9am. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Lompoc Cemetery, at 10am, with a Celebration of Life to follow.
Pamela Terrones was born on August 5, 1958, in Bakersfield, California to Lucian Ernest Cooper and Fleettaa Patricia Cooper. Pam attended Lompoc High School and Allan Hancock. She enjoyed her work in nursing homes, hospitals, and home health care as a beloved nurse’s aide. She also spent some time working security for Wells Fargo at Vanderberg Air Force Base. As a devoted animal lover, Pam spent several years volunteering with Viva-Volunteer, in Lompoc, where she helped rescue, rehabilitate, and foster cats. Pam enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, fishing, camping, traveling, and attending concerts. She also loved eating out and drinking iced tea, but mostly cherished time with her family and friends.
Pam is proceeded in death by her husband, Jose Terrones, her son Jeremy Terrones, her parents Lucian and Fleettaa Cooper, and her siblings Glenda Jane Dillard, Gene Austin Dillard, Patricia Walliser, Sandra Ault, Brenda Cook, and Debra Merrill.
Pamela is lovingly remembered by her sons Robert Cooper and Jose Terrones Junior, her daughter-in-law Stefanie Cooper, her grandchildren Jocelyn, Cameron, and Mason Terrones, Calan, Claycen, and Clancey Cooper, Maili and Jeremiah Terrones, her sister Rhoda (Gary Lee) Bushee, her nieces Melanie (Dave) Henderson, Cindy (Paul) Villalovos, nephew Christopher (Lauren) Cook, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pam will be remembered for her love of family and her dedication to helping animals.
Pam, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
