Patricia C. Busse, 76, of Lompoc passed away suddenly on Monday, February 4, 2013.
Pat was born in Orange, New Jersey on June 18, 1936. She arrived in Lompoc in
1967. In November of that year she married Albert Busse. Pat had two sons and
to this union a third son, Alan was added. The family moved between Santa Barbara and Lompoc several times.
In 1962, Pat was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. This began her spiritual life and her activity in the Christian ministry of which she took great delight. For 51 years she engaged in sharing the Bible's hope for the future with many individuals. Her favorite scripture being Matthew 6:33, "seek first the kingdom and all other things will be added to you."
Pat is survived by husband Albert her son Robert Hickler of Lompoc, her son George Hickler of Montclair, California, her sister Beverly Kennedy and her brother Richard Paton of Lompoc, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Alan Busse and her parents Stanley and Loretta Paton.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 705 North Fourth Street, Lompoc.
