PARKER BUNCH
1928-2008

At his request, no services are planned for Parker Bunch, 79 of Vandenberg Village. Parker died on 14 June, 2008.

Parker was born 30 July, 1928 in Linden, N.J. to Canadian immigrants Harry and Nellie Bunch.

He served in the Army (the Third Infantry Division) and the Air Force for a total of 24 years, with overseas assignments to Germany, England, Scotland, France, Israel and various stateside assignments ending with Vandenberg AFB, from which he retired in 1970.

Parker was then employed with the Department of Justice at the U. S. Penitentiary, Lompoc for 20 years with final retirement in 1991.

Survivors include his beloved wife Joy, who he married in Hornchurch, Essex, England on 30 July, 1949. Also his son Parker Ray, and his grandson Ian John.

Parker was preceded in death by his son Gary John, his two brothers Vincent and Blair and both his parents.

Special thanks and recognition to Dr. Bailey, Dr. Coughlin, Dr. Donna Walker and nurses. Also Deputy Sheriffs Daniel Kohli, Judy Hall and the Paramedic Team.

Cremation is under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
