Patricia A. Kistle, formerly of Lompoc, passed away on November 10, 2009 in Citrus Heights, California. Patricia was born on July 12, 1932 to Raymond and Ula Mae Durbin in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Patricia went to Nevada City High School in Nevada City, California where she meet and married David Kistle in 1949. The family moved to Lompoc in 1962.

Patricia spent the last seven years of her life at Manorcare Citrus Heights, where she dearly loved the staff and received excellent care and love. A very important part of Patricia's life was her Catholic faith and her devotion to the Blessed Mother. Patricia was the best mother and wife anyone could ever hope for and loved sewing and making things for everyone.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, David Kistle, her parents, brother, Philip Durbin, sister, Ola Mae Tryon and son-in-law Wayne "Bud" Burmester. She is survived by her children; Mary Boling of Carmichael, California, Monica Olsen of Spokane, Washington, David Kistle, Jr. of Merritt Island, Florida and Philomena Burmester of Lompoc, California, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on sunday, November 22, 2009 at the Chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, with a rosary beginning at 5pm. A Funeral Mass conducted by Rev. Msgr. Fitzgerald will follow on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Queen of Angels Catholic church, followed by internment at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
