Obituary
Patrick Wayne Turpin of Lompoc passed away Friday, August 8, 2008 at the age of 59.
He was born Dec 4, 1948 in Illinois, the second of three children, and raised in Fishers, Indiana. He is survived by his wife Carol Turpin of Lompoc, daughter Heather Ta and husband Michael of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, his step-mother Shirley Turpin of Gosport, IN, and two brothers, James Turpin and his wife Wendy of Ft. Mohave, AZ and Terrance Turpin and his wife Judy of Noblesville, IN. He was preceded in death by his father James B. Turpin and mother Grace E. Dombroski.
He was a long time resident of Lompoc, an active bowler for many years, and a member of the Lompoc Master Choral Group, First Southern Baptist Church Choir, and Central Coast Choral Artists.
A "Celebration of Life" gathering for Pat Turpin will be held at Ryon Park (corner of Ocean and "O" Streets) on Saturday, Aug 16, 2008 at 2 PM.
