Pat was born in Anderson, Indiana August 12, 1930, to Ernest L. and Constance L. Key. She moved with her parents and three siblings to Lompoc in November of 1946, when her father bought the Lompoc Flying service operating out of the Lompoc Airport.

She graduated from Lompoc High School with the class of 1948 and married Kenneth Campbell in 1949. She was a homemaker until the death of her husband in 1965. She then worked part time as a clerk with Lompoc Unified School District for five years. She later worked as a medical records supervisor for Santa Barbara County Health Department until her retirement in 1994.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Tricia in 1978. She is survived by her three sons, Robert, David and Randy, all of Lompoc, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, her sisters Jacqueline (George) Say of Colorado Sprngs, Colorado and Linda (Ed) Buller of Saint Louis Missouri, and her brother Robert (Lorene) Key of Lompoc.

Cremation arrangements will be under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary followed by interment in the Lompoc Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 604 East Ocean Avenue, Lompoc, CA 93436.

Known for her superior homemaking skills her family wanted to conclude with a quote found in a local newspaper: "Lord, I hope you've been keeping a clean house up there. If not, my mom is going to be in your face."
