IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul Hewitt
Crume
January 26, 1952 – May 3, 2019
Paul Hewitt Crume, age 67, passed away on May 3, 2019, at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California. Paul was born on January 26, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri, to father Allan Crume and mother Delana Crume.
Paul H. Crume thoroughly enjoyed his time attending services, Bible studies, and many celebrations (Easter and Christmas), especially at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Lompoc, California, under the spiritual guidance of Pastor Willy Armstead. Paul H. Crume served our country in the United States Army from 1970 to 1982. While serving as a medic, Paul attained many awards, recognitions of training, and did several tours to Germany and Hawaii. He became an E5 Master Sergeant in rank. Paul was a simple Christian man; his values were dear to him – loving, sharing, and forgiving others, no matter what. He enjoyed Bible studies with close friends in his home, early morning walks with close friend Nicola Howell (and picking flowers along the way), a variety of music, Gospel Country Western, Blues, and old Rock & Roll. He loved good old Western films. Paul was a lover of sports. During his high school years football was number one to him, and by his senior year at California High School in St. Louis, MO, he was the team quarterback.
Paul Crume is survived by his sister Carol and brother-in-law Allen Forbis of Jefferson City, MO; Donna Crume of St. Louis, MO; Rida and Zoie in Isseroff, Tel Aviv, Israel; 11 nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and his sister/friend in Christ Nicola Howell.
Paul H. Crume is proceeded in death by his father Allan Crume, mother and stepfather Delana and Jonny Medlock, and his younger brother Howard Crume. Paul will be missed by many.
