Ralph Carlton Farage
1927 – 2007
God received Ralph Farage of Lompoc on September 3, 2007, at the age of 80. Ralph passed away at his home of 37 years in Lompoc. His wife Pat was with him.
Married 62 years with four children, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, Ralph served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Ralph worked 30 years for Martin-Marietta at Vandenberg Air Force Base as an electronic technician. Ralph was very proud to be on 98 missile launches at Vandenberg Air Force Base. Prior to Vandenberg he worked as an electrician for several companies across the United States.
Ralph loved to travel with Pat in their motor home along with their parrot Barney. Traveling over 150,000 miles across the United States and Canada. Ralph was past president of Baldwin Music Club. He was a musician, played the organ and loved to sing. He was also a member of the Lompoc Valley Art Association.
Ralph loved life and was a devoted husband. He is survived by his wife, Pat Farage; his sons, Michael Farage of Visalia and Gary Farage of Lindsey; and his daughters, Vicki Holtcamp of West Linn, Oregon and Janette Haefner of Lompoc.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Cremation will be followed by private inurnment.
