Obituary
Ramona Pearl Balaam was born August 4 1932, and was the third daughter born to Mary and Peter Petersen of Santa Ynez, California. Ramona graduated from Santa Ynez Valley High School in 1950.
She met her future husband Larry at a dance in Santa Ynez in 1949. They dated for one year and were married on August 2, 1950.
She died Monday, March 23, 2015 at her home.
Ramona is survived by husband Larry; sisters Ethel Galloway, Dorothy Freeman; and daughters Diane Link, Elizabeth Armenta, Susan Gunter and Deborah Campbell. She has eight grand-children, 13 great grand-children and three more on the way.
Graveside services will be held at the Lompoc Cemetery Friday March 27th at 10 a.m. Followed by a gathering at the home of Larry and Ramona in Lompoc, Ca.
