Randolph Nielsen died March 27 ^th at his home from complications of diabetes.  He was born April 30, 1954 in Downey California to Frances and Richard Nielsen.  Randy grew up in Buellton attending Jonita Elementary School and graduating from Santa Ynez Valley High School in 1972.  He is survived by his mother Frances Nielsen, sisters Vicky and her husband Joe DeBolt and Veronica and her husband James Collins all of Lompoc and his two brothers Tom and Jerry Nielsen also of Lompoc.

For the past 45 years Randy has been caretaker for his two brothers.  The three of them could be seen walking around Lompoc, being friendly to every one they met.  His hobbies included, growing roses, watching the Dodgers on TV and attending the casino.

He was proceeded in death by his father Richard Nielsen and his grandparents.  Randy leaves behind his niece Christine Grelck, her husband John Grelck IV and their children Monica Aguilar, John V, Claire and Paul Grelck.  Also Charlene Asmussen and her husband Joel Asmussen and daughter Alani of Solvang, David DeBolt of San Francisco, Brian DeBolt and his children Caleb and Caden of Lompoc, Christopher Collins of Folsom and many friends in Lompoc.

Service will be held Tuesday April 9 ^th at 11:00 am at the Starbuck Linn chapel.  Burial will be at Lompoc Cemetery.
