Mr. Raul Perez Solorio passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the age of 95. He was born on November 3, 1928, in Michoacán, Mexico to Severino and Flora Solorio. He has lived in Lompoc since 1946 and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Johns Manville for many years.

Raul is survived by his wife of 48 years Maria; daughters: Jeanie, Flora, and Debra; sons: Raul Miguel, Salvadore, Seferino, and Robert; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many family and friends. "Dios te tiene bajo su cuidado. Nosotros te tenemos en nuestros corazones"

The Visitation will be held on Monday, March 18, from 4-7 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 10 am at La Purisima Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will be held thereafter at the Lompoc Veterans Memorial Building, 100 E Locust Ave, Lompoc.
