Raymond Charles Beth, 53, of Lompoc passed away at home on March 18, 2014.  Ray was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of Gerry Beth and Perla Spurlock.  His family moved to Lompoc in 1963 wehre he attended school, graduating from Lompoc Senior High in 1979.  He later settled in Receda, CA where he worked for more than twenty years plastering pools up and down the coast for Skinner Pool Plastering.

Ray was a beautiful, simple, funny, and loving man.  He stood in judgment of no one, and considered all he knew friends.  He was quick to forgive and to offer what he had to others.  Whether surfing at Jalama or fishing at Cachuma, Ray loved the water.

Ray is survived by his wife of 10 years, Ruth Beth, who lovingly cared for him until is death; his beautiful daughter Sara Rae, his parents, sister, step brother and sisters and their families.  It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to Ray.  He will always be remembered by his loving family and many, many friends.

A gathering of rememberance and celebration will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the Chapel at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.  123 North A Street, Lompoc, CA
