Obituary

Regina Barbeau
Regina Raie Barbeau, 47, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in Surprise, Arizona after a lengthy illness.
Regina was born in Lompoc, California on July 17, 1963 to AJ and Billie Jean Swindle; she was the youngest of four daughters. A graduate of Lompoc High School in 1981, Regina worked within the Santa Barbara, Lompoc, and Santa Maria communities in the manufacturing and banking industries until 1992 when she was afforded the opportunity to stay at home to raise her two children. She cherished this time while watching them grow and flourish. Regina later moved to Surprise, Arizona where she lived the last years of her life.
Regina enjoyed the simple things in life; reading her favorite books, playing card games with family, and taking walks around the neighborhood with friends. Her infectious love for meeting new people gave her the uncanny ability to talk to anyone and everyone. She loved taking day trips to photograph the local scenery or the adventure of trying to find the perfect photographic moment while vacationing at Lake Tahoe.
Regina is survived by her beloved children: Jayme and Jordan Barbeau; her father and step-mother, AJ and Patria Swindle; her sisters, Linda Elliot and Paulette Fisher; her step-sisters, Tish Ortman and Jenny Clouse; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Billie Jean Swindle and her sister Cindy Zanakis.
She will always be remembered for her positive outlook on life as she was greatly loved and will be undoubtedly missed.
A private service will be held by the family.
