Obituary

In Loving Memory of Remigio G. Lacambra 

October 3, 1939 – July 2, 2026

With gratitude for a life well lived and faith in God’s promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of Remigio G. Lacambra ‘James Bond JR’, who peacefully passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on October 3, 1939, in Pangasinan, Philippines, Remigio spent much of his life in Sapangbato, Angeles City, where he was known as a hardworking and devoted family man. 

In pursuit of a better future for his loved ones, he spent many years working in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, making countless sacrifices that reflected his unwavering dedication to his family. His determination, resilience, and strong work ethic became an enduring example for his children and grandchildren. 

Remigio was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elias Lacambra and Adelaida Lacambra; his infant son, Reggie Lacambra, who passed away at just six months of age; and his brothers, Herman Lacambra and Eduardo Lacambra

He is lovingly remembered by his children: Sherley Lacambra, the late Reggie Lacambra, Richard Lacambra, Eva Lacambra Lopez, Marlene Lacambra, Gina Lacambra Guron, Amapola Lacambra Cardenas, and Jayron Lacambra.

He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Adrian Delapena, Ramgevs Delapena, Patrick Kevin Lopez, Paolo Lopez, Ianne Kristine Del Rosario, Rachel Roszkiewicz, Jericho, Josiah Guron, Abigail Cardenas, and Gabrielle Cardenas, His wonderful great-grandchildren: Camila Olivia Lopez, Calisto Miguel lopez, David Clark Del Rosario, Ervan Theodore Dela Pena, Aiden Oliver Dela Pena, and Kristine Eliyanah Dela Pena. His love and legacy lives on. 

He also survived by his siblings, Carmelo Lacambra, Mila Tubb, and Violet Delara, who will cherish the memories they shared throughout their lives.

 Remigio was formerly married to Gloria Lacambra, with whom he shared many years and raised their successful children. 

He will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, generosity, humility, and steadfast love for his family. Through years of hard work and sacrifice, he provided opportunities for those he loved and left a lasting legacy of perseverance, integrity, and unconditional love. Although he is no longer with us in person, the memories he created, the lessons he taught, and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
