Reynaldo Rendon Cabrera (61) "Rey" passed away peacefully on January 11, 2021. He leaves behind his loving mother, Dora Cabrera, his devoted wife of 25+ years, Gerri Cabrera, his sons, Allen-Rey (Papi), Matthew (Chicle), and Joshua (Little Buddy), his siblings; Martin Cabrera (Laurie), Gilbert Cabrera (Tami), Ramiro Cabrera, Carol Cabrera, and Victor Cabrera. He also leaves behind stepdaughters, Charlene Navarro (Richard) and Debbie Ramirez (Anthony), who remain close to the family. He was preceded in death by his sister Dora Marie, and his father, Martin, who passed just 3 months ago. Rey had a very strong love for family. His wife Gerri, and his 3 sons were his world. He loved watching movies and sports with his sons. Rey was a strong Christian who had a deep understanding of scripture. He was a diehard Rams fan and loved visiting family as often as he could to watch sports and have family time. He was known as the jokester in the family, always laughing and teasing everyone. He will be missed by all who loved him. Rey's remains will be cremated and taken to San Diego with his family.
