Reynaldo Fernandez was born on August 21, 1965 in Michoacán, Mexico and was the son of Reynaldo and Catalina Fernandez. What Rey cherished the most were his precious moments with his family. Whether he was taking his wife of 25 years out on dates, supporting his daughter during her events, talking about life with his son and raising him to be a good and hard-working person, singing songs by Vicente Fernandez with his family in the car, attending family functions or just being there in a time in need – Rey was present and touched the lives of many. Rey was a devoted son, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, God father and friend. He will be survived by his wife Julia and his children Chris and Hailey. He will be forever in our hearts.

Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8pm Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Vigil services will commence at 7pm at the mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Friday at La Purisima Catholic Church with Rev. Mike Sezzi, Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Lompoc Cemetery.
