Obituary
Richard "Rick" Jones was born in Soap Lake, Washington in 1962, and was raised in Rapid City, SD and Lompoc, CA.
Rick passed away on Sunday, August 23rd after battling a long illness of cancer since 2003.
He graduated from Cabrillo High School in 1980. He was employed at the County of Santa Barbara.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, BBQ-ing, camping, fishing, and golfing.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl, sons Richard "Bubba" and his wife Kaitlin, Shawn and Travis,
mother Beverly, step-mother Nancy, sisters Debbie and Tammy, brothers John and Richie,
his grandchildren Bailee and Ricky, and his dog Ty.
Private family services were held. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the American Cancer Society.
