Obituary
Richard Edward Gonzales, Sr. of Lompoc passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013, with his family at his side at the age of 51.
Richard was born June 2, 1961 in Chula Vista, California. He married the love of his life Rachel Garcia. Together they had two wonderful sons. Richard was caring, giving and loving to his family. If you needed anything fixed, you could call on Rich, "Jack of all Trades."
Richard is survived by his wife of 22 years, his sons Richard E. Gonzales, Jr. of Lompoc and David Alexander Gonzales of Lompoc, his family Lalo, Carmen, Ed, Margie, Nicholas, Soupy, Kim, Daniel, C.J., and Lala Garcia, Carmen, Mando, Vincent and Frankie Raya, Lupe, Todd, Gregory, Olivia and Vanessa Sparkes, many loving friends, his mother, three brothers and a sister. He was preceded in death by his brother Alexander Gonzales, Jr.
Father Tom Cook will celebrate the mass of Christian burial on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 10am at La Purisima Catholic Church. He inurnment will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
