Richard "Ricky" Salvador Munoz was invited to the Lord's kingdom on March 25, 2016. Ricky was born on October 11, 1962. Ricky was the youngest son of Irene and Manuel Munoz. Ricky was born in Santa Barbara, California and spent most of his life in Lompoc, California. Ricky is a graduate of Cabrillo High School. Ricky was truly a special person and touched d the lives of so many people throughout his time on this earth.

Ricky could simply smile at you and it would infect you with joy and love. Ricky was brought on to this world for a specific reason, that was to make people remember the true miracle of God and to spread his love to all he touched. Ricky loved the "simple things" in life. He loved Las Vegas Magicians, watching classic TV shows on TV land, going on car rides in fancy cars and limousines and watching wrestling. Ricky loved being surrounded by family and friends and telling them about his day and what he has been up to.

Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Manuel Munoz and his older brother Tony Munoz. Ricky is survived by his siblings; Ross Munoz (Pauline), Danny Munoz (Dolores), Norma Jean, Irene Loya, Elena Navarro (Gary), Manuel Munoz, Arthur Munoz (Lupe), Martha Escobedo, Eddie Munoz (Terry), David Munoz (Angie), along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Ricky came from a very large and loving family!

The Munoz Family would like to thank the Medical Staff of Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital M-ICU unit for their hard work and dedication to Ricky's life.

The visitation and rosary will be held at La Purisima Concepcion Church in Lompoc on March 29th beginning at 3:00pm and Rosary at 7:00pm.

The funeral mass will be on March 30th at 10:00am at La Purisima Concepcion Church in Lompoc with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Santa Barbara.
