Obituary
Rita Francis Madrid passed away on September 8, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.
Rita was born on May 4, 1938, in Denver, Colorado to Anthony and Inez Lucero. Rita is survived by her husband George Madrid, Sr., her children Robin Lucero, Misty Fair, Paige Ortega of Lompoc, Ronald Lucero of Denver, Colorado, her four grandchildren, Nicole Gonzalez, Chase Madrid, Jessie Rodriguez, Derek Ortega, six great grandchildren and numerous sisters and extended family members.
Rita was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend to all those who knew her. Rita was loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
The memorial service will be held at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1432 Chapala Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
