Robert M. Alexander, Jr. died August 5, 2007, after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born in Lompoc on March 3, 1950. Robert graduated from Lompoc High School in 1968 and received a Bachelor of Arts from Cal State University Bakersfield. Upon graduation he continued operating the family business, Alexander Bros., Inc. In 1982 he married Trudy Letson and settled in Buellton where they raised their two sons. Robert and Trudy owned and operated the Buellton and Lompoc Quizno's for the past few years. He enjoyed raising cattle and spending time with his family.
Robert is survived by his wife of 25 years, Trudy Alexander, son, Robert M. Alexander, III (Bobby) and girlfriend, Shelley Craine, son, Brian Charles Alexander, parents, Robert (Bob) and Elouise Alexander, brothers, Richard Alexander, Michael and his wife Janet Alexander, sister, Pam Alexander, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life bar-b-que will be held in the fellowship hall at the First Southern Baptist Church, 1009 E. Pine St., Lompoc, on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 11 a.m. Casual dress preferred.
