Robert (Bob) A. Hill passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 89.  He was predeceased by his wife, Eugena whom he married in 1959.  Bob is survived by his four children Deborah, Rebecca (Rob), Matthew (Patricia), and Kendra, and his five grandchildren Nicole, Brandon, Mackenzie, Joshua, and Miranda.   He was born in Hong Kong on December 18, 1930, to parents Frederick and Helena Hill. He was an only child.  Bob graduated from St. Mary's College in Moraga, California, and went on to teach High School at Lompoc Senior High school until he retired. He was also the Boy's tennis coach for many years.  Bob did a tour in Korea with the US Army and was awarded 2 bronze stars.  In his free time, he ran multiple half marathons and was a member of Search and Rescue and ARES Ham Radio club. He loved to backpack and enjoyed being out in the woods.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

A mass and burial will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 10 am at La Purisima Catholic Church in Lompoc.
