Obituary
At his request, no services will be held for Robert "Bob" Burdick, 78, of Lompoc.
Robert was born January 1, 1930 in Fall City, Nebraska to Leroy and Margaret Craig Burdick. He was a United States Navy veteran who later earned a bachelors of science degree from Iowa State University. Bob moved to Santa Barbara County over 45 years ago, and was an aerospace engineer employed by Aerospace Corporation at Vandenberg Air Force Base for the last 20 years.
He died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Lompoc Valley Medical Center.
His wife of 21 years, Wilda Burdick of Lompoc and four children survives him. His parents preceded him in death.
