Our beloved Robert, Sr., 69, went into the arms of our Heavenly Father on February 14, 2018.  Born and raised in Lompoc, California.  Robert graduated from Lompoc High School in 1967.  He served his country in the Army from 1968 to 1972.  Robert worked as a painter for Lockheed for more than 12 years.

Robert was a talented musician from a very young age.  He played the drums, guitar, piano and many other instruments.  He played in bands and was joined by his brothers at various times.  He was an avid "Beatles Fan."

Robert is survived by his children Tanya, Raymond, Anthony, Ruben and Monica and numerous grandchildren; his sisters Dolores and Gloria and his brothers Larry and Danny.  Robert was preceded in death by his son Robert II, his parents Paul and Lupe Gaitan, brothers Paul, David, Raul, Eddie and John Gaitan.

He will be missed by many people…. Where's My Dad?"  Blessings to you, Robert IJN.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, from 4 pm to 8 pm with a funeral service at 6 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.  His burial will be on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 2 pm at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
