Robert Handy age 51 passed away in his home Jan. 11, 2016.

Robert was born June 1, 1964 to Sam & Barbara Handy in Bridgeport, CA. The family moved to Lompoc in 1966 where he attended school and was a graduate from Lompoc High School. He also had taken many courses at Allan Hancock College.

He married Rose in 1995 and they had 3 beautiful children. Robert worked at different businesses in Lompoc and was very talented in so many ways. He was a great fencer, welder, and overall handyman. Robert was best known for his contagious smile. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was well known in the community for his coaching which began with his nieces in AYSO and other children in multiple sports. He spent his summers at his birthplace Bridgeport where our grandfather had built a cabin at Twin Lakes. He was very adventurous and loved to fish, water ski, surf, and hike.

He is survived by his wife Rose Handy, daughters Maegan and Kaylin, son Robert, sister Debra Ward, granddaughter Aliyaah, and multiple nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara and brother John. He will be missed.

He will be buried at his favorite place Bridgeport, CA with his brother and mother.
