A mass of Christian burial for Robert "Bobby" Martinez, 72, will be at La Purisima Catholic Church on December 27, 2017 at 10am.

Bobby was born May 6, 1945 in Lompoc, California to Salvador (Salvy) and Mercedes Martinez. Bobby graduated from Lompoc High School class of 1963. After going to school to become a barber, he went on to become owner of the Crown Barber Shop which he inaugurated in 1970. He was a barber stylist for 52 years and retired in January 2016.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 48 years Jennie Martinez, brother Rudy (Janet) Martinez his children Art (Carlene) Martinez, Evelyn Martinez and Elena Martinez; four grandchildren Artie Martinez, Maressa (Chad) Carlson, Jasmine Martinez and Mercedes Martinez-Taijeron and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Salvador and Mercedes Martinez.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary from 6-8 pm with a funeral mass celebrated on December 27, 2017 at 10 am at La Purisima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
