Robert 'Bob' Ledger Muus

April 12, 1936 – January 28, 2023

Robert 'Bob' Ledger Muus passed away on January 28 ^th , 2023 at the age of 86 in Lompoc where he lived since 1966. Bob was born April 12 ^th , 1936 in Minot, North Dakota to Melvin Muus and Blanche Richardson. After serving a term in the U.S. Air Force, Bob followed some of his siblings and moved to California. Opportunity landed him in Lompoc as he became the Arrowhead Water Salesman for the area. Bob proudly worked for Arrowhead for over 35 years.

Bob will be remembered for his calmest of demeanors. Bob always looked on the positive side of things. He loved to golf and did so until the end. Bob really liked the Dodgers but he Loved the Lakers. He always had a game on the TV.

While he had many friends, once he became Papa, his life became totally dedicated to his grandchildren. Already retired, he and Grammy became full-time nannies. They helped raise both girls. He was the Papa in the front row at every event his granddaughters were involved in. He was their biggest fan and they loved him so much for it.

Bob is survived by his brother Dave Muus (spouse Barb), daughter Michele Muus-Mendibles (spouse Mike), granddaughters Ellie and Jessie, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary in Lompoc on Friday, February 17 ^th at 11 am.
