Lompoc native Robert E. Price died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the age of 66.

Bob was born in Lompoc to Arnold and Dorothy Price. He graduated from Lompoc High School with the class of 1967. He attended Allan Hancock College, where he was on the wrestling team. He was called up to serve in the United States Army and was stationed in Viet Nam. After his discharge in 1970, he returned to Lompoc and was employed at Johns Manville as a Laboratory Technician.

Bob was a member of the First Christian Church in Lompoc. He loved his family. He enjoyed playing cards and winning by any means. He was most content surrounded by his family and friends, wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt, barbecuing and watching the sports of the season. His favorite teams were the Rams and the Dodgers. He was excited with the prospect of the Rams returning to California.

Bob is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cinda Price; his son Eric Price of Lompoc; his parents his brothers and sisters-in-law Arnold and Patty Price of Duluth, Georgia, and James and Catherine Price of Mill Springs, Missouri; his sister and brother-in-law Sherrill and Kim Foster of Greenfield, Missouri, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Robyn R. Price in 1998.

The graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, February 9, at 1 pm at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, Directors.
