Services for Robert Lee Rogers, 21, of Lompoc will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2010 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary with Rev. Msgr. John Fitzgerald of Queen of Angels Catholic Church presiding. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Robert, a native of Lompoc, was born May 12, 1988 to Andrew and Donna Weddle Rogers. He grew up in Lompoc and attended the local schools where he developed a talent and enthusiasm for writing. Robert shared his gift of making family and friends laugh and enjoy themselves. He also loved to paint, play video and board games.
He died Friday, April 16, 2010 at his home.
Robert is survived by his mother, Donna Escobedo; father, Andrew Rogers; grandparents; Doris Weddle, Lewis Scaggs, and Floyd Rogers; stepfather, Curt Kolish; sister, Kelsey Kolish; brothers, Andrew Rogers, Kyle Kolish and Corey Kolish and numerous other relatives. His grandmother Gwen Rogers preceded him in death.
Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
