Roberto Fernandez, 58, of Romero de Torres, Michoacan Mexico, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara.
Roberto was a fun and happy man who enjoyed fishing and working on new projects in his home. In his spare time, he enjoyed barbequing with his family and telling jokes.
Roberto was extremely proud of his four children Armando, Gerardo, Marisela, Martha and his wife and best friend Teresa. He fought until the end for his grandchildren that he loved dearly Gerita, Derek, Saira, Alexia, Jayden, Carlos, Roberto and Gaby.
Roberto loved his job as a supervisor for wine processing in a local winery. He worked in this company for 18 years until he was forced to give up his career due to his illness.

Visitation and Rosary will be Thursday, May 23 at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 24 at 12:00 pm. Roberto will be laid to rest at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
He is now in peace and reunited with his son Gabe Fernandez.
