Obituary
Roberto Tanguma of Lompoc died Monday, December 3, 2007, at the age of 69.
Roberto was born December 4, 1937 in Mission, Texas to Rafael and Aurora Tanguma. After graduating from Mission High School he served in the Texas National Guard. He relocated to Lompoc in 1980 where he has worked as a clerk for the U. S. Postal Service for the last 17 years. In his free time he enjoyed horse racing.
Roberto is survived by his children and their spouses, Robert Tanguma, Edwin and Bertha Tanguma, Steven Tanguma, Tammy and Michael Read, and Paul and Sophia Tanguma all of Lompoc. Seven grandchildren also survive him. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Vivian Tanguma in 2004, daughter Melinda Petalos in 2006, and his brother Raul Tanguma.
Cremation will be followed by private inurnment. Arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
