Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Robin Lynn Raschke, who passed away peacefully on April 1st, 2025, at the age of 61, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in New London, CT, to Janet Ruth and Robin J. Rowley, Robin's family later moved to Ventura, CA, where she grew up and graduated from Ventura High School. Known for her hard work and compassionate nature, she met and married her beloved husband, Eugene "Herman" Raschke, in Ventura. Together, they built a life filled with love, raising two daughters and sharing 42 years of marriage.

Robin was a dedicated wife, mother, Mimi, and Christian. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her work at the church, where she contributed greatly to the community. Despite her busy schedule, she always found time to nurture her garden, be the best at bbqing, care for her beloved dogs and chickens, and fulfill her daily responsibilities with pride. Her family was her priority, and she never missed a school event, dance recital, or sporting activity involving her children or grandchildren. She extended her love to many more children, affectionately known as "Mimi" to all.

Robin is survived by her husband Eugene "Herman" Raschke, her daughters Heather Trahan and Sara Friend, her grandchildren Hailey Trahan, Jocelyn Trahan, and Bryson Friend, her son-in-laws Joey Trahan and Jory Friend, her younger brother Bud Rowley, her cherished dogs Toby, Cookie, Kiea, and Millie, and her hens.

Though she leaves behind a void, Robin's impact on countless lives will be remembered forever. She was a strong, loving, and fierce woman, a friend to the friendless, and a beacon of kindness to all. Her greatest accomplishment was being the best wife, mom, and Mimi possible, and it is in this role that she will be eternally cherished.

A Celebration of Life service will be held but date will be announced at a later time.
