Roger H. Linde of Lompoc died Sunday, February 15, 2015, at the age of 83. Roger was born July 25, 1931, in Gelsenkirschen, Germany to Hans and Emily Linde. He was raised and educated in Germany. He came to the United States and settled in Lompoc in the 1950s. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1953. He and his brothers opened several businesses eventually opening and operating Linde Brothers Furniture. He enjoyed painting, reading and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Linde in 2005, his brothers Dieter and Hasso, and his sisters Inge, Ann and Utte. He is survived by his daughter and her husband Yvonne and Jim Reynolds of Lake in the Hills, Illinois, and his grandchildren Stephanie and Brock Reynolds and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Friday, February 20, 2015, at 12 noon in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Interment will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
